UK Sport is the British Government’s lead strategic agency for Major Events in the United Kingdom – staging events which are innovative, impactful, delivered to high standards, to packed crowds and with unforgettable event-day atmosphere. In the role of Technical Mega Event Specialist, I am one of UK Sport’s team who works specifically on the UK’s programme of Mega events, working with colleagues from across the UK’s leading host cities and UK Government;- Facilitate high profile and successful bid outcomes for the UK’s targeted list of Mega Events- Work closely with NGB/Government partners to deliver high quality feasibility and host selection processes- Ensure UK Sport and UK Government can make informed investment decisions for public funds- Relationship manage key strategic relationships, internationally and nationally.- Deliver against key strategic outcomes – across city, national, sport and International Federation partners- Championing the highest levels of integrity and ED&I, and create meaningful Social Impact programmes

In the role of Major Events Consultant, I was one of UK Sport’s main relationship managers across the UK’s Olympic and Paralympic sector – one of the most consistently high performing Olympic and Paralympic teams of all time.- Stakeholder management for over 12 Olympic and Paralympic bodies (inc. Athletics, Hockey and Sailing)- Developed over 30 hosting targets from NGB and City partners to deliver on the UK's strategic priorities- Worked within tight, set government investment parameters- Demonstrated clear investment rationale for public funds into a series of Major Events- Developed a new commercial, underwrite and contingency model for a World Championships event- Facilitated new relationships between UK Sport, NGB partners and the private sector- Represented UK Sport alongside NGB partners in negotiations with International Federations- Delivered a series of successful bid processes and outcomes with a series of International Federations- Ran Host City selection processes for a series of hosting opportunities for UK Sport and partners- Secured a number of ‘firsts’ – e.g. an inaugural European Championships in a new Olympic discipline ('24)- Worked collaboratively to re-define existing support programmes at UK Sport

Welsh Rowing is the governing body for Rowing in Wales. In the role of Non Executive Director on the Board, I support the Executive team to;- Define and provide strategic guidance to achieve the NGB’s strategic plan- Collaborate and secure new relationships across the sport, in Wales, in the UK and internationally- Highlight key organisational and operational risks and opportunities throughout- Promote the sport of rowing in Wales to achieve key strategic outcomes

As a ‘Consultant’ at The Sports Consultancy, I worked closely within a team of Consultants to the Consulting team to deliver high quality, creative, high profile advice on complex consulting projects for major sports rights holders (national and international) and public sector clients. I delivered on a range of projects which include;- Host city procurement, management and stakeholder liaison, including drafting of key documentation. - Major Event bid writing, management and design- Strategy consultation, definition and design at International and National federation level- Impact assessment (economic and social) for Major & Mega Events- Research definition and delivery of key hosting targets for Rights Holders. - Re-definition of event hosting proposition of new and traditional event properties- Design and deliver knowledge transfer programmes for leading rights holders- Business development

As Operations Manager at LIRFC, I helped facilitate the management and running of a number of parts of the club - a Premiership Rugby Club; - Delivered a series of high profile Special Projects for the club; including NFL & RWC2015 team hosting- Delivered final stages of delivery for LIRFC's new training venue - Hazelwood- Advocated at International Conferences for more collaboration between sport and technology- Led LIRFC's response to the PRL ‘Minimum Standards Criteria’ - Operational responsibility for retail revenue stream and stadium preparation- Fostered strong and resilient working relationships in other sporting organisations to promote partnership.- IT infrastructure manager.
