Manage development projects from start to finish within the projected lead-time which meet or exceed the initial projected savings. Where possible , objective is to receiving plant work with the supplier directly once project is implemented and there are no outstanding issues.Responsible for researching, identifying, auditing and managing suppliers, throughout China to achieve strategic goals and objective.Act as the primary contact with Flowserve sites in other regions on all new project launches. Maintain and report accurate measures of supplier performance during the launch phase.Support the yearly objectives of Low Cost Sourcing China Team including selecting and utilizing quality suppliers, improving on-time delivery of suppliers, increasing inventory turns of the receiving plant with Chinese suppliers, and reducing material cost of receiving plants.Support yearly material savings budgets for the various manufacturing plants utilizing China. Evaluate the existing suppliers in China and qualify them with respect to pricing, delivery, quality and capabilities.Selection, Assessment of suppliers of castings, machining, Stamping, forgings, fabrications and relative accessories.Teams with other business functions to ensure that assigned suppliers are capable of new product launches and incremental business growth to meet or exceed customer performance objectives.Reports performance key metrics on a monthly basis by projectObtain a thorough understanding of the product to be outsourced through documentation packages received teleconferences with the plant, or a plant trip.Send bid analysis to the plant of the overall cost of the suppliers with recommendation. Analysis should cover quality, delivery, payment terms, and expected savings including all boxing, shipment, and tariff cost.Establish a project schedule for each project managed.Work with receiving plant to resolve any outstanding issues.

Participate as a team leader on strategic sourcing project engagements across all phases of the sourcing lifecycle within the Harbour Group company.Responsible for supplier identification and pre-screening for sourcing projects.Conducts supplier visits to evaluated manufacturing, quality, engineering & other disciplines, and to provide objective reports on overall capabilities with recommendations on ways to mitigate risks.Benchmark and negotiate pricing, terms, and other commercial related issues with potential suppliers to ensure fair market pricing.Manage and provide technical insight and knowledge of key commodities.Develop and execute a repeatable sourcing process that drives results.Supplier development as necessary to ensure successful project implementation.Conducts quality audits on suppliers and keep track of corrective actions to ensure suppliers meet minimum quality system standards

Supervise a team with 6 professionals including two buyers and three warehouse staffs, responsibilities cover Asia Pacific.Establish the purchase information system and database cover all parts for wheels, brakes and aircraft modules.Set up policies and procedures regarding sourcing, purchasing planning and executions as well as logistics management. Develop an annual purchase planning based on predicted production volume, products modules and sales value.;Develop global steady new supplies and purchasing channel to ensure the daily operation;Supervise and monitor suppliers for price, quality and delivered cycle time for material supply;In charge of evaluating status of potential suppliers and support requirements of internal customers and partners;Supervise and control the inventory for safety level to ensure the better cash flow.Work with other line managers to provide service to further support business growth in across function communication.Supervise five logistic staffs with 2 buyers and 3 stock people.
