The Slate CRM Specialist is responsible for the management of the Customer Relationship Management System (Technolutions Slate) for Acadia University. This position serves as the lead for the University’s Slate ongoing development and maintenance. The Slate CRM Specialist is responsible for coordinating with the undergraduate recruitment, admissions, and Scholarships and Awards teams to execute all recruitment and admissions solutions through Slate, including but not limited to process, workflow, and communications designed to enroll talented and diverse students. The Slate CRM Specialist also collaborates with Marketing and other campus partners to implement marketing and communication best practices focused on recruitment and enhancing the customer (student) experience. In addition, the Slate CRM Specialist develops and maintain Acadia’s ability to utilize the data within the CRM for effective analysis and market research. The Slate CRM Specialist will also be responsible for creating, launching and monitoring workflows from the planning stage through campaign launch, targeting multiple prospective student and constituent audiences using multi-channel communication (digital, print, email, text, and phone), as well as tracking all interactions and audience behavior. The Slate CRM Specialist also implements admission business processes within the CRM including custom workspace design, form building, travel management, applicant portal functionality, and application review processes. The Slate CRM Specialist is the lead on-campus trainer and will provide functional support services for (Technolutions Slate), as well as support reporting and analysis of the communications and business processes within the CRM.

At Technology Services I worked in Enterprise Systems group with our Enterprise Information Systems. When our aging Information system needed a better and more stable web presence, we created what was now known as Acadia Central, to which I was the primary developer/supporter. Acadia Central is run by a product called Oracle Portals.In Oracle Portals I work with Oracle PL/SQL as the primary programming languages and we leverage HTML, javascript,css to build database driven applications for the web. Over the years I tuned our programs to be top performing pages on heavy loads to utilize best practices in Oracle Portals and PL/SQL.Within Acadia Central we built many of our own applications to do different tasks, including Laptop Inventory, Exam Scheduling, Timetable Scheduler.In addition to Acadia Central I also support Colleague Advancement. I was a member of a team that migrated the Advancement data into Ellucian Colleague. I also trained and re-train for the whole department from basic to complicated tasks.Part of teams that implemented the following software: StarRez, Everbridge, Slate CRM, Team Dynamix and I was also integrated those software with the campus SIS.Had the role of CSGold Administrator, and improved integration with the software for students to be able to upload photos through the self service software.
