My work included implementing Agile processes and Scrum artifacts (i.e. sprint planning and review, retrospectives, backlog grooming, regular 1:1s, etc.) and an increased focus on test automation and unit testing that led to 2x production per sprint and a six-week deployment cadence for new versions. I also worked with the leadership team to define long-term goals, which resulted in a migration to modern languages when possible for all new feature development and introduction of cloud infrastructure. I also established our first offshore development program to improve our ability to flex up/down based on demand.
