- Utilized C++ and Python to interface with an Arduino Mega 256 to control and synchronize a pellet feeder with a 2-Photon Microscope that measures brain activity in mice.- Used LabVIEW to control a National Instruments data acquisition instrument that syncs an LED with frame triggers in a 2-Photon Microscope.- Wrote Python scripts for serial communication with the Arduino to remotely control the movement and actions of a pellet feeder.- Performed unit testing using Python and PyDAQ to measure TTL signal strength being outputted from the Data Acquisition Device.- Modified existing open source firmware in C++ to change feeder behavior to match the requirements of the lab experiments.
