Senior Engineer
Current- Provide the non-manufacturing entities with functional guidance and technical expertise on HSE-related issues.- Develop and deliver policies, procedures, auditing, training, communications, and educational materials to promote increased understanding, appreciation, and adherence to safe operating practices throughout the workplace to ensure compliance with Bridgestone standards and government regulations. Support effective governance of the HSE Management system at the different entities.- To advise, guide, and assist the non-Mfg. entities & allied functional heads involved in planning, organizing, controlling, and maintaining a safe, healthy, and environment-friendly workplace (Bridgestone & channel partners).- To implement activity-specific Health and Safety guidelines, in alignment with Bridgestone standards (Workshop MMS standards, Warehouse Standards, Office Safety Manual, EMIA guidelines, Bridgestone safety standards, etc.)- Proactively implement and always sustain the requirements as per the Bridgestone Group Health & Safety Management System.- Participate and give presentations in kick-off meetings. Operate in adherence to defined HSE KPIs to enable effective departmental performance and impact on company operations and provide data for preparing valuable Corporate HSE reports.- Coordinate with support functions related to Health & Safety compliance-related issues.- Coordinate and promote safety awareness campaigns (Safety week, World Environment Day, Disaster Prevention Week, Sustainability Week activities, etc.) to increase awareness among the Bridgestone manufacturing & non-Mfg. sites.
