With over 10 years of experience in politics and government affairs, I have honed my skills in campaigns at all levels and senior positions, as well as in State Government. Currently, I serve as an advisor to the Governor in the Appointments Division, overseeing appointments to state boards and commissions in various fields, including professional and industry regulation, military and veterans affairs, and law enforcement and corrections. I engage with stakeholders, state agencies, and the Legislature to ensure timely and current appointments to governing boards.In my role, I lead the process of senate confirmation of gubernatorial appointees by working closely with the Senate Nomination Committee, Senators, legislative staff, and agency leadership. My previous experience includes successful political advocacy, coalition building, voter mobilization, and training, among other support activities. As a senior leader of campaign organizations, I have designed statewide programs, managed large staff, developed multi-million dollar budgets, and designed performance metrics.My additional experience in the executive branch of state government has given me insight into working with state boards and commissions that have rulemaking and regulatory authority.
