Digital Epidemiology Services (DES), a non-profit, works alongside the Centre for Genomic Pathogen Surveillance (CGPS) at the University of Oxford. CGPS provides universal surveillance tools and strategies to address the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), facilitating rapid data integration, visualization, analysis and sharing. We enable genomic epidemiology training worldwide to support rapid deployment of targeted intervention measures. DES applies CGPS-developed tools and capabilities at scale to build and maintain robust pathogen surveillance networks.

As a key member of the executive leadership team at the largest private distributed network of IVD diagnostic laboratories in the UK, I played a pivotal role in driving the company's commercial success and market leadership. Leading the scientific division, I ensured that our startup not only met but exceeded commercial objectives and customer demand, all while maintaining rigorous compliance with regulatory obligations.I spearheaded the development and execution of our product strategy, overseeing R&D, laboratory operations, quality, and clinical functions. My leadership was instrumental in the successful implementation of a Quality Management System, achieving ISO15189 and 22870 accreditation in 2021—a milestone that solidified our reputation for excellence. By targeting elite sports teams and corporate organisations, I expanded our market reach and created new revenue streams, demonstrating the adaptability and scalability of our business model across different markets.

Led the Statement of Work division of SRG - a scientific services business recruiting, training and managing integrated teams for the life science market. Developed the structure and the sales strategy to accelerate growth and increase productivity across Europe. Initiated and drove a significant change management process to improve customer service, quality standards and profitability. To stand still is to go backwards - only by challenging our processes and client solutions will SRG continue to lead the market in providing flexible talent solutions to the Life Science market.
