SEPP Software Engineering Intern, Ejection Seating for the United States Air Force• On-site internship in the Summer Engineering Project Program (SEEP). • Developed an application to replace the antiquated software provided by the DOD to analyze sensor data from ejection seats sled tests and display how seats performed according to certain injury criteria. • Presented application to upper-level management at Collins’ headquarters in Iowa in SEPP project fair. • Decrypted and displayed test data in several graphs both in the application and excel spreadsheets with critical information including head, neck, back, concussion injury criteria and when different events occurred during the ejection. • Worked with engineers on-campus to incorporate feedback to make the application as user-friendly and powerful as possible while still conforming the company’s and engineer’s needs.
