Woodland Ways run a comprehensive range of wilderness bushcraft and survival courses and I regularly run a variety of courses for both adults and children. Key responsibilities and achievements:• Taking full responsibility for the course I am running, including all planning and logistics.• Coordinating with the Instructing and apprentice team.• Ensuring all health and safety risk assessments have been completed prior to course commencement.• Delivering the course content in a lively, inspiring and engaging way.• Empowering those on the course to build their own knowledge and confidence by getting involved and trying things in a safe space, for example building fires, creating shelters, foraging for food, using knives safely, preparing game, tuning into nature and natural navigation to name a few. • Mentoring and coaching students and apprentices to help them build skills in a way that meets their needs.• Actively encouraging customer retention and future engagement.
