He simultaneously reached out to the V-22 manufacturers along with senior Government and Marine Corps staff. By positioning ourselves as neutral evaluators between the Marine Corps and the manufacturers, we revised the process of addressing issues and faults in an organized method. Today Osprey is the primary medium lift aircraft for the U.S. Marine Corps. In addition, Osprey squadrons are active in the U.S. Air Force & Navy, along with our Allies. As the Executive Officer, my responsibilities included:► Providing experience for the V-22 Squadron Training and Readiness (T&R) Review as well as the Manpower Expertise for personnel requirements.► Being selected to brief senior government officials on current state of the program, aircraft, and personnel issues.► Advising the Commanding Officer on administration, logistics, and maintenance issues.► Improving performance of ten V-22 aircraft in this 165-member Training Squadron.
