As the Managing Director of Askew Brook Ltd, I have led a talented team in building bespoke web and software solutions for clients across the UK. In this role, I lead a team that brings together FSB teams from across the regions to lobby on behalf of small businesses at a national level and support lobbying efforts at a local level. I also previously served as the Vice Chair of the English Policy Unit and the Policy Representative for Yorkshire and the North East, where I led policy activity for the region and ensured the views of FSB members were heard at a local and national level.As an Associate Tutor in Cyber Security at CU Scarborough, I teach students about the importance of cyber security in software development and help them develop the skills they need to create secure software solutions that protect against cyber threats.
