Mr. Asselta had the unique fortune to begin his career at a law firm that exclusively handled highly complex and technical federal criminal matters. While a member of the firm, Mr. Asselta practiced in the firm's litigation department where he litigated and tried numerous civil and administrative matters. He was also responsible for handling most of the litigation department's motion and appellate practice, preparing both civil and criminal appeals and arguing those matters before the Appellate division.As part of his administrative practice, Mr. Asselta represented a public school district. As part of his representation of the school district he litigated issues on its behalf ranging from contractual matters to student and staff disciplinary issues. Many matters involved parental and student claims regarding both general and special education issues.

AttorneyMr. Asselta was a member of this boutique commercial litigation firm. While there, he assisted and coordinated with the other partner on all phases of trial and civil litigation and second chaired trials in both state and federal court including a federal interstate commerce matter and a complicated contract dispute. He was responsible for handling all of the firm's complex motion practice and appellate matters.
