Principal of Becker Architects (Est 1982) which has designed several hundred homes and over thirty automobile dealerships. In Residential, our work includes rehabs, additions and new homes, many of which have been published nationally, seen on HGTV or received design awards. And some have been featured in advertising, print and commercials.In Commercial, we have designed auto dealerships in the metro Chicago/Wisconsin region for almost every manufacturer since 1994. We have also developed real estate both on the east coast and the north shore of Chicago.Public Service includes Highland Park Historic Preservation Commission (1996-2000) and Zoning Board of Appeals (2000-2008). I currently serve on the Superintendent's Citizens Advisory Committee for Construction Projects for District 112 and advisory board positions for CAMERA and StandWithUs, both pro-Israel organizations. Richard is married to Nancy Becker, also an architect and firm principal. They have five children (one an architect) and four grandkids.
