Combined with a diversity of equipment, this makes for an exiting environment to work within.Experienced electrical engineer; self-motivated and capable of working autonomously or with others in support of educational and research goals in an academic environment. Such an environment is ever evolving and changing over time providing experience across a wide range of equipment, technologies, challenges and multiple software packages resulting is a strong learning, diagnostic, testing and troubleshooting skill set. This skill set also includes observance of safety issues, failure prevention, finding and/or designing solutions and fabrication; some of which can be rather unique due to the research nature of the environment. This environment has also provided experience with hand and power tools; including working with a machine shop on designs and learning to do basic CNC, milling and lathe work. Basically, if there was a problem then I would work to find a solution. Other prior experience and education includes medical equipment and manufacturing environments. Completed a series of developmental classes at Georgia Tech Continuing Education finishing with a Supervisory Development Certificate.Hold an Amateur Radio license - General Class.
