Enjoys an active outdoor life, good sense of humour and proven interpersonal skills.Career Details- Following Grammar school became an apprenticed Engineer- Thereafter ,following pressure from father to change career, became a Commercial Trainee, studied Accountancy, qualified ( CIMA ) in my late 20’s- First company Directorship aged 32, sent to Ashridge Management College, (MBIM)- Thereafter worked extensively in the Corporate business sector, progressing through roles as FD ,MD, and Divisional Director- Industries included Engineering, Plastics Packaging, Pharmaceuticals and Printing- Ran owned Book Printing business during late 90’s- Employed by Business Link for several years as Business Advisor and trained Mentor, working with SME’s in Norfolk- Latterly, worked as Freelance Business Advisor, providing advice and practical support to local businesses, including engagements under Government funded initiatives via Local Authorities. Also acted as Non Executive Director.Personal Skills- Financial Management, including preparation of Funding Applications and Business Plans- Profit Improvement programmes and Gross Margin enhancement- Structuring Business for growth
