At VCUQ Arts Qatar, I served as an Assistant Professor in the Painting and Printmaking Department (PAPR) and MFA Design Studies. I taught a range of courses, including Digital Fabrication, Graduate Advising, and Basic Sculpture. My role extended beyond teaching to involve active participation in extracurricular activities, exhibitions, and recruitment efforts for the MFA program, supporting both the academic and creative development of the students.

In addition to my teaching duties, I managed the VCUQ FabLab, where I led a comprehensive renovation of the aging facilities. I introduced modern tools and workflows, and I established a student employment program that significantly increased engagement and interaction within the lab. This initiative helped integrate practical, hands-on experience into the curriculum and created a more collaborative learning environment.

During the 2017/18 academic year, I took on the additional responsibility of Acting Academic Resources Manager. In this role, I managed the procurement and receipt of over $300,000 worth of art supplies and textbooks, ensuring the school’s resources were fully stocked. This role required balancing academic, technical, and operational responsibilities, all contributing to a more efficient and resource-rich environment for both students and faculty.
