Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario currently living in Caledonia, Ontario. Graduate of McMaster University with an Honours B.A. (economics and statistics) graduated 1975. Enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces achieving the rank of Lieutenant after 3 years. Resigned from the Armed Forces and became a bank branch administration officer for a major Canadian bank. In 1981 joined Richardson Greensheilds as an investment advisor and continue to provide that service to my clients for the past 32 years. Other achievements include the raising of two successful children and obtaining a private pilots fixed wing licence and a commercial helicopter pilot’s licence. Using my formal education, self education and 32 years of experience I build portfolios that reflect the objectives and risk tolerance of my clients using stocks, fixed income products and ETF'S. I monitor the portfolios and based on fundamental and technical analysis make adjustments were risk or opportunity are recognized. Over the last 12 years I have devoted a considerable amount of time doing research and investing in precious metals and the underlying stocks and ETF'S. I believe that like 2008 we are entering a dangerous and volatile time in financial markets which demand experience, vigilance and active strategies to successfully navigate successfully.
