About Richard Brooke
Today I am best described as an Ontological Coach. What that means is I coach people to a new “state of being” in order for them to feel empowered to take the actions aligned with their goals. The simplest way to understand it is to think about our moods. When we are in a good, empowered, courageous, on-fire mood relative to the work that needs to be done, we get it done. I define success as simply making progress on whatever goals we have. Achieving the end game, although often important, can be an elusive trap when the end game is the definition. I coach people to discover the actions that create that progress, then coach them to fall in love with the process. This creates what I call compounded consistency. My career has included building my own sales organization of 30,000 people and owning my own personal care products company for 33 years. I sold that company to a two-billion-dollar competitor in 2017 and launched my coaching, training, and consulting business. I have keynoted groups up to 10,000 and shared the stage with Tony Robbins, Sir Richard Branson, John Maxwell, Les Brown, Bob Proctor and many others. I’m the author of “Mach 2 With Your Hair on Fire: How to Master Self-Motivation & Stay on Fire for Life” and “The Four Year Career®.” I’ve also written hundreds of articles and training programs. In my personal time, I have a passion for golf, scuba diving, boating, pickleball, and flying helicopters. I live on the island of Lanai in Hawaii with the love of my life, Kimmy.
