Hot Rods and Customs involved being responsible for all of the decision making related to achieving profit making results. -As the General Manager, I was responsible for the company's sales and marketing operations,-I was frequently involved in activities such as staffing, planning, and delegating duties,-I was also responsible for overseeing all of the firm's day-to-day functions and operations. My position at Who's Your Daddy?!? Hot Rods and Customs allowed me to apply my automotive knowledge while utilizing my potential in the management and sales departments.

The Operations and Sales Manager position at Signetix provided me with the opportunity to grow my management skills while continuing to expand my experience in sales and engineering. -My role at Signetix was overseeing various departments such as manufacturing, warehousing, sales, and maintenance. -I led a team of 20 employees-I ensured that the set of quality criteria met client requirements and that the products met and exceeded clients' expectations-My position also included the application of various sales techniques including Business to Business (B2B) sales. Thanks to my proficient marketing skills, I increased the company's sales 20-25% per month and produced the second highest grossing month in the company's history-I had the opportunity to learn and perfect my powder coating knowledge and abilities-I serviced, maintained, built and operated powder coating equipment such as ovens, conveyers, compressors, and sandblasting equipment- I oversaw the production and inspection of parts while practicing lean manufacturing principles.

As a welder and fabricator at Shade Industries, I had the opportunity to utilize my welding and manufacturing skills in building and constructing shade structures around the Phoenix area. One of the most enjoyable aspects of working at the Shade Industries was having the chance to be involved in the whole process of constructing the projects. My work consisted of meeting with clients to discuss their needs, performing measurements, designing, and finally installing the end product. My experience as a welder and fabricator at the Shade Industries provided me with an opportunity to refine my skills as a fabricator while expanding my creativity. As the founder and owner of the RB Mast Service, my mission was to serve the Phoenix area radio and television networks by servicing and repairing various telecommunications mobile vehicles. By becoming endorsed by Will-Burt: Integrated Towers and Masts, a global manufacturing company, I was able to rebuilt and maintain close to 200 vehicles around the valley.-My work tasks included rebuilding and installing new pneumatic masts,-maintaining and installing D-Tec safety systems,-rebuilding and maintaining pan-and-tilt heads.My work in the telecommunications area allowed me to expand my engineering capabilities and work with some of the well-known local radio and television stations.My clients included: KPHO Channel 5, KNIX, Cool FM, KTAR, FOX Channel 10, Telemundo, and Channel 15 NEWS.

Working for one of the largest auto auction dealers in the Southwest allowed me to apply and expand my skills as an automotive technician. -At the Dealers Auto Auction of the Southwest I inspected, diagnosed, and repaired close to 600 vehicles per week. -My responsibilities also included post-sale inspections of the vehicles on the sale day, which incorporated the mechanical and frame examination. -I also served as an arbitrator in solving disagreements between buyers and sellers.

My area of expertise in working as a machinist at the Layke Inc. was tool and part making. This area of the manufacturing industry allowed me to utilize a high level of craftsmanship in manually constructing various objects such as tools, jigs, parts, and devices. My position at Layke Inc. involved working closely with other machinists and manufacturers as part of a manufacturing engineering team whose focus was providing the aerospace industry with high-precision and complexity machined components. Some of my responsibilities at Layke Inc. included:-Utilizing various CNC machines to produce precision parts-Setting up and operating v-mills, surface grinders, and engine lathes-Setting up and operating center, and centerless grinders while holding tolerance-Using a variety of grinders to sharpen tools, end mills, drills and profile tools-Using computer-aided design (CAD) to craft precision tools, jigs and fixtures.
