Profile bio

About Bruno Bronosky

https://github.com/RichardBronosky/resumeI am a systems engineer, software developer, and leader.I am generally interested in the internals of the technologies that drive the internet. This has lead me to Open Source Software where I can study and modify source code to better myself, my computing, and the community as a whole.I have been professionally employed since 1995 using technologies that include:Linux, embedded Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, OpenVPN, Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL , Apache, PHP, Python, Django, Ruby, Rails, C, C++, FreeBSD, and all things command line.I have reached a place in my career where the only way to increase my output is to lead others, or build robots. I replace repetitive tasks with bots and automation that free my time and serve as living documentation. I love solving problems. I love the command line. I spend 90% of my day using XTerm, tmux, Bash, Vim, and a REPL (ipython, mysql, psql, etc.). When I must use a GUI, it's probably going to be a Mac. (Unfortunately, Linux is not yet ready for notebooks.) As a general rule (for you recruiters who won't leave me alone) "I don't do windows." In reality, _I decide_ the best tool for each job, and I have automated Windows boxes. I have enjoyed my time writing PowerShell. I have even chosen to use a Windows laptop to get more time with WSL (but the lack of a decent terminal really ruins the experience).I am involved in many Open Source communities. My contributions to StackOverflow and GitHub should tell you most of what there is to know about me.Specialties: performance management (human and machine), data center orchestration (Chef/Terraform), Linux administration (DevOps), IoT, mobile architecture, bash scripting/automation, python, Docker, problem solving in general.

Listed skills include Apache, Linux, Mysql, Php, and 14 others.
