I am a Business Intelligence professional who deliver’s high quality data warehouse applications. My specialty is ETL design and development. I am driven to understand the data involved in the applications I build and to help my clients understand the data as it impacts the metrics produced in the applications. I also help them understand data quality issues discovered during the application development so informed design decisions can be made.I have over 15 years experience in developing data warehouse applications. Resolved issue involving the use of Informatica to load tables from DB2 table unload files. Informatica was not correctly reading and writing null values in field in source file. Implemented first use of Informatica ODBC software at NU to support read/write access to SQL Server databases. Developed Unix script based ftp process to support implementation of ETL with the IBM mainframe. Native Informatica code did not support ftp of files from the mainframe into an Informatica ETL process.
