Performed new development and ongoing maintenance work for the application. Built an Oracle package of stored procedures to provide a single consistent set of code. Developed a method of tracking Oracle Temp space use during load cycles to identify high use ETL processes. This enables the capability to recode the high use processes to reduce overall use of Temp space and eliminate issues in the load cycle related to Temp space.Informatica Administration - support code migrationsSupported Supply Chain Data Consolidation and CL&P Rate Case projects. Responsibilities included:• Supply Chain Data Consolidation project - Prototyped Informatica code for the project. The prototypes were used by a consultant to code the application. Customer Service Implementation Project Developer for reporting on Streetlight and Unmetered inventory and usage on customer service system replacement project. Worked with client team to design and implement a BI application for reporting including Oracle database tables, ETL code written in Informatica and reports written in Hyperion Interactive Reporting software. Worked with DB2 DBA to develop a method of supporting connections to subsystems containing multiple versions(development, test, training) of the customer service database. Utilized specific DB2 security groups combined with Informatica environment sql to configure Informatica database connections to specific databases. Resolved issue involving the use of Informatica to load tables from DB2 table unload files. Informatica was not correctly reading and writing null values in field in source file. Developed an automated process to identify issues in the GXS profile database Implemented maintenance routines coded in Unix script to control space usage, delete old files etc.Designed, developed and implemented an interface between the GXS application and Cleo Lexicon to provide AS2 services to trading partners. Implemented utility to evaluate GXS proprietary trading partner database and identify incomplete trading partner configurations. Supply Chain Team Implemented upgrade of INDUS Knowledge Warehouse(IKW) application to version 9 for Northeast Utilities. Design and development of a common UNIX script based interface between Informatica and Autosys that replaced the use of individual session specific scripts to call Informtica pmcmd and run workflows. Interface has been in use from 2005 to date.IKW implementation included working with the client team to identify portions of IKW required to meet reporting needs and working with the DB2 support team. Implemented first use of Informatica ODBC software at NU to support read/write access to SQL Server databases. Developed Unix script based ftp process to support implementation of ETL with the IBM mainframe. Native Informatica code did not support ftp of files from the mainframe into an Informatica ETL process.
