Richard has over 25 years experience in public accounting and consulting, 20 of those years as a CPA. Richard graduated in 1989 from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering. Richard started working in public accounting in 1992 at KPMG in Frankfurt, Germany. He studied accounting at the University of Maryland in Europe and College Park, Maryland in the mid 90's. He took and passed the CPA exam in November 1995. Richard was promoted to Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998 after a short stint as financial controller for a German subsidiary of Canadian automotive supplier Magna. He worked closely with corporate management in Woodbridge, Ontario, helping to develop component pricing models to ensure profits for products produced for a wide variety of platforms for each automotive manufacturer. In 2000 Richard also became a Chartered Financial Analyst while working as an Assistant Vice-President in the Corporate Finance department at PwC in Toronto. His work experience ranges from tax and audit to business structuring and developing business processes to SEC reporting and mergers and acquisitions. Richard has consulted for Fortune 50 companies, but is just at home helping small local firms get started and grow.He is currently focusing on profit and growth advisory services for business owners of small and medium enterprises with revenues in excess of $800k to just above $5 million.Richard founded Pegasus Commercial Capital Advisors, LLC in 2020. Pegasus has offices in Louisiana and Mississippi.
