For the first 3 months of the role I was teamed with two other client managers on the patch. We split the accounts whereby my challenge was to break into white space accounts with the other client managers using their existing relationships to manage the larger accounts. For the next 18 month I managed the Local Government MM Invest territory, consisting of both white space and large accounts. I delegated small ticket/BAO items to Business Partners whilst I focus on the C-Suite engagements to drive future strategy. I achieved my band 7 promotion in February 2015. From Oct 2015 until year end I managed the entire Local Government MM patch and managed a part time lead generator to target the white space accounts. I effectively managed two patches/quotas, with the patch I inherited formally managed by a colleague who was a band 8.
