Originally hired as the VP of Marketing, my role and responsibilities changed when I became President. My duties included working with the outside investors, board of directors, and operational officers of the company. The company had both products and services. The product was called “Deadline,” a computer center scheduling program and the customers including many major firms—TWA, Hallmark Cards. Con Ed, Northern States Power. During my term I helped recapitalize the company and set new directions. I was called in by the Board of Directors to take over and run the company.

I was the Director of Marketing for the computer services division. Major customers include the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Our Army customers included the 7th Army Tactical Operations Center in Europe and the Navy for our advanced computer counsels. In addition we developed automated budgeting systems for the Army, which incorporated the planning, programming, and budgeting system.

I served on active duty in the United States Army and was assigned to the Army Security Agency. Originally commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant, I ended my military career as a Captain while in the Reserves. I was stationed at Arlington Hall Station in Arlington, Virginia. My work included top level studies in highly classified area. As part of these efforts, I coordinated with major intelligence agencies and traveled to many Army R&D Development sites, worked with strategic and tactical information, and developed recommendations for the longer term deployment of advanced information systems.
