Projects:Careers-Mobility-Partnership Community-Based Research Study - to understand the experience of recently immigrated low-income urban Chinese emerging adults and to explore their academic and vocational aspirations. Using a community-based participatory research (CBPR) framework, a research collaborative was established between NYU and CMP. Project Asian American Careers and Education: Focusing on Asian American health, conducting on-site/community based research in current project aiming to to develop a brief, individualized prevention-intervention for Asian American high school students and their parents on academic pathways and career decision-making.Met with the team in weekly meetings to further progress in designing the protocol.Facilitated workshops and survey analysis on-site.

In his term, spearheaded the following events:-Pre-Med conference at Albert-Einstein with keynote speaker Dr. Pablo Joo and an open panel from Albert Einstein School of Medicine admissions. - fundraised money for cervical cancer screening awareness - facilitated Bone Marrow workshops. - worked with The Epilepsy Foundation of Metropolitan New York as well to raise awareness of the multitude of populations affected with epilepsy and the reduce the associated stigma.

- Active field work in food access in Guatemala City and the outskirts of Guatemala. - Worked in multiple public-sectors within Guatemala, including hospitals and soup kitchens. - Completed 100 hours of internship. - Volunteered in Comedor Guadalupe Soup Kitchen in the Catholic Church, visiting food markets, and going to “La Terminal,” gaining a cultural experience - spoke with various NPO's regarding improving literacy rates in Guatemala - conducted meetings with mentor, coordinators of the Comedor Guadelupe, coordinators of NPO for higher literacy in Guatemala and wrote a 20+ page paper
