Windows Live Sync & Live Mesh (Windows Live Core) Client Developer• One of the original developers to work on the Live Mesh team in a 'v1' startup-style environment, chartered to build a "Software plus Services" platform and experiences to drive the long term roadmap for Microsoft under Chief Software Architect Ray Ozzie.• Built a client platform to enable file and metadata synchronization across devices and cloud backends. Exposed API and data model that synchronized seamlessly across devices, regardless of internet connectivity.

Windows Live/MSN Messenger Server Developer• Developed manageability solutions for Messenger service, including automating deployment and monitoring solutions for thousands of machines. Owned monitoring and configuration areas.• Designed and deployed security-related content signing server using backend hardware security modules, with revocation capabilities.• Created side-by-side beta cloud within existing Messenger topology that allowed presence sharing across clouds.• Automated processes to allow for faster and smoother team software development.

• Developed novel and efficient machine learning algorithms for protein family comparison.• Used information-theoretic principles to discover patterns in protein family data by correlating secondary structure data. • Published paper in "BMC Bioinformatics"
