My most recent venture was Managing Director at Hydroflex Technology, an industry leader in board sports technology. We build surfboards with our patented 3D lamination technology for some of the top surfer in the world. We partnered and licensed with the best shapers/brands in the industry to glass their boards with our 3D glassing process.Before that I was chairman and owner of XSport Sourcing, a Consulting and Sourcing company that helps Brands with their manufacturing needs. We have offices in Carlsbad, Ca, Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China. We specialize in custom cut and sew clothing for action sports brands. Sold owning interest in early 2015.Previously I was Director of Operations at Ladera Skateboards LLC / Gunmetal Trucks MFG. We develop and manufacture skateboard products that are vastly different from the cookie-cutter decks available at the local skate shops. By optimizing control, feel, and performance for all ability levels, Ladera Skateboards ND GUNMETAL TRUCKS continue to stand apart from the rest with its high performance set-ups, innovative designs and premium skateboard components. Before taking the role at Ladera/Gunmetal I was working with a Flat Fitty LLC, as the Ast, GM, first in their Shenzhen, China office (Sept. 2009 - Sept. 2010), then at their USA headquarters in Calrsbad, CA.During college I worked as a manufacturing manager at an electronics company that does OEM work for many world known companies. I also have experience in the Aerospace industry. I worked at two different companies who made major components for commercial and military aviation. As a Quality engineer and Manufacturing manager at these companies I learned the importance of quality control and good manufacturing practices.Specialties: Kaizen Project Leader, Quality Stand-down project manager, Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production System Training, SAP training.
