• As Director of the Release Management and System Test organization I am responsible for release planning and project/program management for multi-site development, deployment & maintenance activities for all Ulticom software and system solution product lines. Release content for all major/new feature and patch deliveries is defined through collaboration with all stakeholders and cross functional teams including account teams, product owners, software development teams and system test teams. In this position I am also responsible for software baseline/source tree definition including new development, customer specific and maintenance branches. Finally, all product software testing and certification is conducted by the system test department within my organization. All software testing is conducted within an Agile/Scrum environment. The system test organization has successfully built a testing campaign in conjunction with the launch of a new product – Diameter Signaling Controller - with emphasis on test automation, product robustness, and incorporation of virtualized test configurations.

• In this position, I was responsible for directing all system test activities for all software products in accordance with established program schedules, budgets, and customer commitments. I lead an organization of 35 system test engineers across multiple corporate sites in North America and Europe. During my tenure quality initiatives were implemented including test automation emphasis, source control of automated scripts, improved customer configuration replication, regular customer information exchange, and improved STP reviews. In addition, the system test organization successfully transitioned from a Waterfall SDLC model to Agile/Scrum methodology. In total over 300 software deliveries (new feature/patch) were successfully made while improving the defect escape rate by 15%.
