I work for not for profit organisations that are delivering services or undertaking work that involves some degree of complexity, for example: service users/supporters with complex needs, multiple funders and other stakeholders, challenging working arrangements (organisational change, multi-department/consortium working), or perhaps, an approach to working which is unique to their particular service. They are typically looking to implement new IT systems to support this work or to resolve organisational, people, supplier or technical problems with existing systems, and have issues such as cost overruns, scope creep, problems with fitness for purpose, supplier/contractual problems, lack of stakeholder engagement, user dissatisfaction and so on. When my clients work with me, systems are kept simple and appropriate, they are delivered within sensible timescales and for a sensible cost, there is a high degree of user satisfaction with the delivered system and associated changes in ways of working, relationships with technical teams and external suppliers are improved, and the anticipated benefits are largely realised These results are delivered by bringing to my projects a broad and rich set of skills backed by many years of experience working across the whole project lifecycle using both traditional and agile techniques..
