As Team Lead at AdvisorEngine, I've helped build and run multiple teams covering areas like brokerage account opening workflows, e-signing documents, transfer management, brokerage account trading and rebalancing integrations with Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, and some I'm sure I've forgotten about.On each of these teams I've built a productive, friendly team culture, delivered features and fixes both large and small, analyzed and upgraded both business and technical processes, filled in for the product owner and QA lead, and maintained the level of competence and reliability needed for teams owning business critical components & features.I have a passion for getting things right, but understand that compromises are what make the world turn.

As a Team Leader, I manage a team of developers architecting and implementing various projects, including data apis , asynchronous backend workflows and web development.

As a Senior Engineer I have led multiple high-profile projects at the Orchard, including implementations at both end of the engineering spectrum: end-user facing web products and high-performance automated delivery systems. As a Technical Lead, I guide the development team in using best practices in product development, as well as designing and implementing pure technology projects.

As CTO of a startup, my responsibilities covered the entire spectrum of technical issues: server administration and provisioning, security analysis, development methodologies, risk estimates, budgeting, building a development team, requirement gathering, documentation processes, QA processes, etc.

As an Integration Architect/Developer for Intertec, I designed and built integration systems between Intertec's client software and other systems, including NYC government systems.

As a Senior Developer at Brightstar I was heavily involved in the architecture, design, development, and testing of several enterprise projects, including the ground-up rebuilding of Brightstar's US operations. I was also an integral member of the team which designed and implemented Brightstar's custom distributed ESB system.

As a Senior Biztalk Developer at a consulting company, I worked on a number of projects, ranging from week-long server installs to 6 month upgrade projects (from Biztalk 2002 to Biztalk 2004). I also assisted the corporate office with internal development and in designing training materials for new consultants.

As a Junior Web Developer, my major project was to parse 6000 vbscript/html pages and move image hosting to an off-site hosting service. I was able to use a programmatic find and replace system to successfully replace ~90% of the images across the entire system.

As a Jr. Developer, I lead the crash development of an SNMP-based web site that provided remote control of ~1000 journalist internet connections during the 3rd 2004 presidential debate.
