Mechatronics Engineer with over 10 years of work experience and transferable skills in both the manufacturing and research sectors.My role as Senior Electrical Engineer varies and spans from development, commissioning, service to management of automation systems projects over Australia and overseas. I am heavily involved in project management, R&D, mechanical & electrical design, programming, generating simulations, integration and commissioning of such systems. My role in the development stage of projects also requires me to review the feasibility of quotations against customer's specifications, negotiation with suppliers and provide a practicable timeline for the completion of the project within budget while maintaining stringent testing and safety standards. I am also currently involved in the education and research sector through my other role in Research Support at Monash University which allows me to utilize my ingenuity while sharpening my innovative and analytical skills required in the development of novel robotic mechanisms and providing technological solutions.My career goal is to be able to make significant contributions in the engineering and research industries in a challenging environment, where I can best utilize the knowledge and skills I have developed from my work experience, research and education; in order to further develop myself as a professional.
