Current• Successfully led technical team through analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of a new credit card settlement batch process that consolidated four processes into one. Interacted extensively with business clients, management, and external partners during all phases – gathering requirements, scheduling tasks, resolving issues, providing status reviews, and project tracking. Heavily involved with third-party companies (First Data and Bank of America Merchant Services) in configuring incoming and outgoing interfaces and incorporating into new settlement process.Technologies Used: COBOL, DB2, MQ• With a highly aggressive timeframe, was able to design and develop a new process to receive sale transactions from a third-party company (Speed FC) and process daily into a legacy inventory system. This involved developing a customized XML Schema and using Informatica ETL to load XML data to DB2 Mainframe tables. Successfully implemented prior to opening of Foundry Big and Tall Supply Shops. Technologies Used: COBOL, DB2, XML, Informatica • Technical Lead on critical project to financially track imported merchandise in the inventory system. This was a year long project that spanned multiple Business / IT teams. Involved in all phases using SDLC “waterfall” methodology. This was completed on-time with the team receiving a Quarterly Award for its efforts.Technologies Used: COBOL, DB2, Classic ASP, HTML• Pro-actively conducted data analysis and presented results to business clients in order to define requirements needed to “sunset” a legacy invoice / receipt matching application. Successfully led effort to migrate over to a newer matching system and then disable legacy process without impacting other financial systems. Received “Team of the Quarter” award as part of a company-wide MIPS Recovery Effort.
