Following the revamp I was permit authority and site representative for underground gas main cut over on pastoral land completed across 8 months, 15,000 hours without injury.

A$20M, 35,000 hour shutdown completed without serious injury, flawless start up, under budget and on time whilst inspiring the site to best practice delivery. Raising over $24,000 for local specialist school as part of event safety incentive. Successfully influenced the site to extend GCP shutdown interval from 4 years to 8 years and the three gas trains from 3 years to 5 years. A multi million dollar realisation from 2023.

Shutdown manager for the IONA 2018 maintenance shutdown event, implementing industry best practice processes and driving this business to challenge it’s own paradigms. The result of this 15,000 hour, 14 day, 150 person, $5 mln shutdown event was injury free, ahead of schedule, under budget and leak free start up.
