Richard is a PhD student majoring in Computer and Information Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), supervised by Prof. Feng Yin and Prof. Tsung-Hui Chang. Prior to his PhD, he obtained a BSc in Statistics from CUHK-Shenzhen.As a research assistant at the Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data (SRIBD) and the Bayesian Learning for Signal Processing (BLSP) Group, Richard focuses on developing and implementing advanced machine learning algorithms. His research interests include data-efficient decision-making with Bayesian optimization and probabilistic machine learning for uncertainty quantification.
