A Director level role within Allica Financial Services Ltd t/a Allica Bank Asset Finance with full responsibility for the Asset Finance proposition within Allica Bank – wholly focused on funding SMEs. The role was created in June 19 prior to Bank regulatory approval with full responsibility to deliver a fully assessed and costed business case to the Allica Bank board for approval. The business case included all market entry options, strategic/technological considerations, full financial breakdown along with product, functional, legal and target operating model design. On sign off, the role was responsible for delivery of the product to market including final supplier assessments, contract negotiation, hiring of project team and set up of Steering Committee and Project Working Group ahead of the formal build. Allica Bank Asset Finance successfully launched December 2020 and in 2021 has been shortlisted for various awards.

Our specialism is to provide expertise in funding renewable energy asset finance; Funding Solar PV, Biomass Boilers, Wind Turbines (On Shore) Anaerobic Digestion, Air Source Heat Pumps, LED/energy efficient lighting and Smart Meters. My team have extensive experience in funding direct to the counterparty/end user as well as providing structured finance by way of SPVs for providers of services within this sector. With Wholesale funding, I am responsible for Block Discounting for Lombard with a team providing financial solutions to businesses providing finance/loans wanting to free up capital by way of this product. My team are also equipped to provide receivables funding to providers of managed service contracts to free up much needed capital to support the purchase of the underlying goods.

On an interim basis I took responsibility as Sales Director in Lombard is to serve the SME market in the Midlands region by way primarily of Asset Finance but also other banking solutions. Leading a team of 55 professionals, we look to support trading businesses, up to £40million turnover, with much needed funding to help them fulfill their ambitions of being successful.

Responsibility for driving the planned financial delivery, business development, staff engagement, customer experience, regulatory/internal control adherence and develop internal and external stakeholder relationships.

North West London

Responsibility for a team of 12 Senior Business Managers serving and supporting SME trading business with t/o up to £2million with general banking facilities and support. Responsible for full P&L of lending and deposits alongside risk products to support our customers future ambitions.

Various roles beginning in Branch Banking. Promoted through branch banking to the role of Business Banking Manager, supporting businesses with t/o below £10million with funding, deposits and risk solutions. My final role on leaving was as a Commercial Financial Planning Manager with licenses held to support and advise SME trading businesses on long term protection, investment planning and company pension schemes.
