Rick DiLiberto, a Delaware lawyer, has achieved justice for his clients in the form of recoveries in the hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars at trial, mediation, arbitration, and negotiated settlement. He is a past President of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, former Legislative Committee Chairman, and a Delaware State Delegate to the American Association for Justice (AAJ).Rick has taken a special interest in championing the rights of child victims. Recently, he was one of the Young Conaway lawyers who achieved a historic $123 million class action resolution for hundreds of Sussex County, Delaware children sexually assaulted by their pediatrician. His prior experience as a teacher, and a member of the Delaware House of Representatives Education Committee gives him a unique perspective and ability to communicate with children and put them at ease in stressful situations.For a decade he was a Delaware lawmaker in the Delaware House of Representatives, and rose to be his caucus' ranking member on the Judiciary, Public Safety and Corrections Committees. He also served with distinction on the Joint Finance Committee, one of 12 members of the Legislature to write the Delaware state budget. Rick drafted the Constitutional Amendment to guarantee Delawareans freedom of speech.
