As a Health and Safety professional, I am driven by a passion for working with people to achieve "Better Work Outcomes" for both individuals and organizations. Currently, I serve as the Environment, Health, and Safety Lead for APL Manufacturing, a role that sees me working across two operational groups to problem solve and implement changes to ensure better work outcomes (Safety, Quality, Performance). My goals in for 2024/2025 are to use the EHS Lead role and responsibilities to grow myself into the Operational Leader I am striving to be. My next career move will be into the operations change and leadership space, and with my passion and experience in this space I hope to continue to lead wider change and value add works.My approach to H&S is rooted in a people-centric perspective that can be applied to any field of work, and I am interested in applying my skills and experience to other areas such as systems and supply chains. I completed a Bachelor of Electronic Commerce degree at Waikato University, with majors in both Supply Chain Management and Marketing, and in 2023 attained a Diploma in Health & Safety from the Southern Institute of Technology. I am also proud to have been part of a successful rollout and certification process for ISO45001, with no non-conformances and overwhelmingly positive feedback on thefirst attempt.I am grateful for the opportunities provided by The Gallagher Group's executive team and look forward to continued growth and development in the H&S field and beyond.
