    The objective is to propose solutions to detect errors in transcriptions provided by an automatic speech recognition (ASR) system. In addition, these studies are also focused on the characterization of these errors. For example, detecting person name errors would be a major information for systems of automatic document indexing systems, on one hand by offering not to use these incorrectly transcribed words for indexing, or on the other hand by correcting them with specific solutions.

    I followed the work initiated during my PhD thesis on spontaneous speech problems in the context of automatic speech recognition (ASR). In particular, I proposed a new method to detect speaker roles (presenter, guest, interviewee...) in broadcast news shows by using system and features proposed to detect spontaneous speech.I also continued to teach various courses in computer science (programming, network, databases...) at the Université du Maine.
