During my enlistment I served in several capacities to include performing and supervising the operation and maintenance of the Patriot Missile Engagement Control Station, the Radar, and generator equipment. Also, I was responsible for, via hand receipt, in excess of forty-seven million dollars worth of Patriot equipment. I served as the trainer for all subordinates who entered our unit and provided the education that was needed for them to certify as battle crews for the Patriot System. My own crew maintained advanced certifications. My awards include two Army Achievement Medals, an Army Commendation Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Ribbon, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. Some of which were awarded due to our participation while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom/Enduring Freedom.
