Full-time faculty for Excelsior University in the School of Technology. Teaches courses to satisfy the requirements for a Bachelors in Nuclear Engineering Technology. Also teaching the Integrated Technology Assessment (Capstone) for the Bachelor of Professional Studies in Technology Management.

Led company to completing Accreditation to award CEUs from the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (WWW. IACET.org). Lead instructional designers and instructors in developing, delivering and evaluating training prepared using the ADDIE model. Performs periodic reviews of training to determine improvement opportunities and compliance with IACET/ANSI Standards.

Providing assistance implementing a Human Performance Improvement initiative. Our efforts will assist with organizational culture change to help bring the company to an even higher level of performance.

Assisting AEP in establishing a Human Performance Improvement initiative in their competitive generation fleet. Providing leadership mentoring, Human Performance Training and Coaching to Enhance Performance.

Conducted a workshop for over 30 representatives of 14 European nation's Nuclear Power Plant Operations professionals and State Regulators for the International Atomic Energy Agency. Using facilitative techniques focused on the attendees improving or attaining the skills needed to conduct Root Cause Analysis, this week-long workshop provided foundational learning in the classroom and practice at utilizing the techniques taught through case studies and group exercises. At the completion of the training, the attendees were particularly positive about the experience and interactive training focus of the facilitators.

Assisted the Major Projects Department in enhancing human performance and organizational effectiveness. Focused on improving supervisor effectiveness and establishing a program for providing frequent feedback on individual and group performance. These efforts had a significantly positive effect on departmental performance.

Working with the station to improve human performance and industrial safety. Consulting in Root Cause Analysis and performance trending to identify drivers of performance. Providing advice on corrective actions and opportunities for improvement.

Supported examination development for online emergecy planning coursework.

Provided support in reviewing new electronic courseware on Human Performance skills and fundamentals for employees in the nuclear industry. Subject Matter Expert for technical content, and developed examination materials to support production rollout of the new training program.

Provided Human Performance expertise to a nuclear utility conducting a proactive root cause evaluation to improve station performance. Recommended methodologies and interview techniques to identify improvements needed to optimize station performance. The evaluation utilized common cause methodologies to review multiple inputs and correlate causes to information provided in employee interviews.

Provided training in Human Performance fundamentals, events analysis, and mentoring in HPI programs.

Provided mentoring to corporate and site leadership in the establishment of a human performance improvement program throughout the fossil generation business unit. Worked with leadership to implement and support continuous improvement processes that will optimize the organizational culture of the organization. The human performance efforts at Luminant recently contributed to their best year in Industrial Safety in recent experience.Provided training to all levels of employees on the fundamentals of human performance, mentoring on implementation of human performance programs, and events analysis assistance to optimize the use of lessons learned to improve organizational effectiveness. Provided experience in development of a work planning process that focuses on event-free maintenance activities.

Providing services to improve training programs. Successful projects include developing performance metrics for program effectiveness, conducting effectiveness reviews, performing corrective action program evaluations, implementing all aspects of self-assessments, and executive coaching.

Led the performance improvment efforts at the station and NextEra fleet to establish a culture that recognizes the value of continuous improvment. Helped the station to achieve recognition from the industry as a top performer.

Participated in a team assigned by the ISPI leadership to improve the CPT program management processes and explore recognition of the Certified Performance Technologist by external accrediting agencies.

Initiated and led a project to develop and implement a strategic plan to address workforce demographics. Provided analysis of workforce demographics, recommendations for improvements, and facilitated a cooperative leadership effort to improve retention and employee engagement.

Provided internal consulting and leadership for the instructor training programs, assessment of the effectiveness of the accredited training programs, and improvments in instructor led training. Developed and trained instructors incorporate human performance improvement fundamentals in training programs, with special emphasis on case studies to incorporate operating experience in training.

Assisted with the development and implementation of a journeyman level training program for maintenance skills in the U.S. Navy. Conducted training analysis to implement a competency-based program throughout the maintenance facilities of the Navy, that included Journeyman certification by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Led 200-500 journey-level professionals conducting maintenance and modifications on nuclear submarine structural and power-plant components.

Led multiple departments supervising, maintaining and modifiying nuclear submarines.

Emergency Planning Director for the Southeast Region of the United States for the Navy's nuclear propulsion units. Directed the Emergency Planning Center, provided liaison with Georgia State Emergency Management, and Naval Reactors. Managed the initial implementation of the Emergency Response Organization.

Managed the Radiological Controls and Nuclear Repair Divisions at a submarine repair facility on the West Coast.

Superviser repair, operations and modifications on nuclear submarines. Qualified as Engineering Officer of the Watch, Engineering Duty Officer, Engineering Watch Supervisor, Engineering Ducty Chief, and all subordinate watchstations. Nuclear Power Plant Operations instructor.
