Richard Perry is a transformational leader with a reputation for excellence in manufacturing execution. He is a senior manufacturing leader who has a history of successfully leading dynamic organizations to achieve excellence and deliver outstanding business results. Richard has extensive knowledge and expertise in process safety management developed from numerous years of hazardous chemical operations.Richard began in career in DuPont as a project engineer. During his career, he held many roles where he gained expertise in manufacturing technology management, plant production and maintenance management, supply chain management, and human resources. As Manufacturing Director, he was responsible operations of 13 operating plants with over 3K employees generating over 3B dollars in annual revenue. In this role, employee safety performance improved twenty percent and plant productivity increased over 5 percent due to the identification and implementation of over 50M dollars in continuous improvement and lean projects. Additionally, he led global initiatives to improve the execution of process safety management and mechanical integrity managing processes and systems, as well as, first-line supervision development and the mentoring processes for operational leaders.Richard earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He has previously served as Vice President for Manufacture Alabama and the Forum; and a board member for both the Mobile Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Southwest Alabama. He is currently serving as a board member of Mart High School Enrichment Foundation and Co-chair of the Trustee Board for Macedonia Baptist Church. He also continues to support youth as a mentor for his local church.
