I am currently seeking to expand my career as a Technical Writer or in a related technical field. They are a Michigan based company that produces industrial material handling equipment. When I first started working at this company, I was responsible for creating product reference pages in OneNote that are used during the product development process. Before I left, I worked directly with various custom designed equipment and created product documentation (user manual, spare parts list, mechanical drawing package, schematics package) for the customer in a timely manner.I have worked as a Marketing Database Analyst contract employee for Herman Miller for one year. They are a Michigan based company that mainly produces high quality office furniture. During my time at Herman Miller, I was a key team member on the Design and Specifications Tools Team and also worked closely with Product Managers and various Product Information Specialists. I was involved with adding the entire Nemschoff and Naughtone line of product numbers and descriptions into the Herman Miller database. These product numbers and descriptions are then added to the Herman Miller CAD Pack software release for customers to use.I have also worked as a Technical Writer for Extron Electronics for six years. They are a California based company that produces professional audio and video equipment. During my time at Extron, I worked with various types of products such as audio/video switchers, control processors, signal processors, streaming products, and software products. I also assisted with developing their ISO 9001:2008 standards and creating their wiki pages.I am excited to advance my career and put my skills to use to further advance the success of your organization.
