Primary Responsibilities: • To monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve: network, hardware, and application issues for large video networks. In addition to IP cameras, this includes much IT related equipment such as PCs, servers, switches, routers, wireless access points, and thin clients.• To Train and assist End-Users how to use new systems, hardware, and software.• To handle the RMAs for products under warranty or otherwise in need of repair. Responsible for communicating with customers and clients explaining their technical issues and facilitating the necessary repairs.• To work with vendors, technical support and manufactures to resolve customer’s issues.• To troubleshoot low voltage circuits, cable connectors, analog camera specific Audio/Video equipment (e.g. matrix switchers). • To maintain and update documentation for projects and work orders. • Required to communicate potential problems with supervisors, management staff, and client/customer to mitigate before actualization.Secondary responsibilities:• Installation and configuration of hardware such as, cameras, conduit, low voltage circuits & devices, PCs, network & analog cameras, VoIP systems, conduit, pulling cable, servers, switches, terminating cables, entry systems (Paxton, continental access), power supplies, and other low voltage devices.
