► Hands on role where I carried out a broad range of construction and installation works (commercial / residential) for various furniture types including kitchen cabinets, office furniture and specialised designs. Other duties included:- Reading, interpreting and understanding detailed drawings, plans and designs.- Attending safety meetings in the workshop and completing safety paperwork.- Reporting any hazards and resolving when possible. - Operating a diverse range of hand, air and power tools along with specialised equipment. - Working directly with clients and providing on the job updates.- Inspecting all completed work for quality and consistency prior to sign off.

► Fast-paced position where I coordinated and supervised crews of trade professionals across campervan, food truck and motor home conversions. Other aspects of the role entailed:- Reviewing inventory of supplies and parts and placing orders with relevant vendors.- Liaising closely with new and existing clients. Assessing their needs and providing quotes. - Completing construction and fit outs of campers as per specs. - Training, coaching and mentoring team members across daily scopes of works.- Adhering to and promoting all statutory and regulatory OHS&E in the workshop. - Proactively managing projects to obtain complete customer satisfaction for all custom work.- Installing interior finish items, including wall protection, doors and hardware, toilet accessories, cubicle curtain tracks and TV brackets.

► Demanding position where I completed construction and installation of security doors and windows to residential homes. Other responsibilities were:- Utilising heavy machinery and forklifts in the warehouse in line with OHS&E guidelines.- Building and hanging custom doors and frames. - Aligning and squaring frames and forms for installation. - Operating electric cordless and hammer drills and cutting saws.- Constructing safety provisions, including scaffolding, gang ladders, perimeter railings, fall protection and temporary covers.

► Successfully completed apprenticeship with this company. I constructed solid timber furniture, furniture, kitchen cabinets, entertainment units and shelving units in line with schedules, plans and deadlines. Other areas of work were:- Completing installation and inspection of kitchen cabinets, shop fittings along with office fit outs.- Working with crews of other cabinet makers to ensure work was completed to standard.- Maintaining excellent OH&S standards and professionalism at all times while working.- Working closely with key internal stakeholders in the business and attending meetings.
