Prior to my current affiliation with Stranberg Resource Group as a Strategic Parter I held the titles of National Practice leader for the Industrial Practice and Co-Leader of the Family Owned/Privately Held Practice at Battalia Winston. I bring over 25 years of experience to the retained executive search industry.My practice is focused on three distinct areas: - Public and Private companies in West Michigan - Automotive and Equipment Manufacturers - Family Owned and Privately Held companiesMy work for the organizations in these three areas spans all functional disciplines and is focused on leadership positions that impact the bottom line. As a result I am sought after as a value added and trusted partner with over 90% of my work done for existing clients.The landscape for talent is changing. The largest generation in history, millennials, are projected to make up the majority of the work force by 2020. Additionally, the overall size of the workforce will be smaller as the baby boom generation retires. The values and attitudes of millennials, from how they work to who they work for, will directly impact how companies function. As a result, companies have already begun to make changes in their recruitment and retention programs and overall office environment. Companies large and small will be vying for a smaller pool of exceptional talent. Investing in the next generation of leadership is the most critical challenge facing companies today. Only the large more sophisticated companies have recognized the unique challenges recruiting and retaining this group will have on the overall impact on the sustainability of their business.
