The company launched in the UK in 2008 and now has an existing portfolio of over 13,500 beds and a further 5,000+ bed development pipeline across England, Scotland and Wales. Key responsibilities and achievements comprise: • Full P&L responsibility with year on year revenue and EBITDA growth. • Leading and managing 250+ employees across two central offices in London and Manchester and over 20 village locations throughout the UK. • Transitioning a development led and entrepreneurial focused business to one more appropriately structured and scaled as a growth management platform. • Developed and won new business with University of St Andrews, Durham University, University of Exeter, Bournemouth University and several off-campus/direct let investments with joint venture partners. • Developed and led strategy for entry into the Irish market.• Member of the global executive team.

Fund Manager (and previously General Manager) of Campus Living Funds Management Limited (CLFM), the internalised (from 2013) responsible entity for the Campus Living Villages (CLV) Fund, a specialist global student accommodation wholesale investment vehicle with facilities in the US, UK, Australia and NZ. Key responsibilities and achievements comprise: • Management and oversight of CLV’s funds management function and responsibilities as ‘21C’ to the Global CEO including governance and company secretarial matters and member of the global executive team.• Alongside the CEO, assist the Board to help set the strategic direction of the Fund including management responsibility for all relevant Board and Committee meetings and strategy workshops.• Management of all investor meetings, queries, reporting (including preparation of the Fund’s annual business plan) and managing call and distribution processes.• Management of all fund raising activities to both existing and potential new investors. • Oversight of investments and fund management related activities and recommending investment and divestment opportunities to the Board.• Acting as Responsible Manager on CLFM’s Australian Financial Services Licence and managing relevant compliance and regulatory requirements including all AFSL statutory obligations as a fund manager and monitoring by an appropriate compliance and audit framework. • Managing the internalisation and sale from Transfield Holdings in 2013.
