I am currently serving as the Utility Engineer for the Village of Wellington, responsible for applying general principles of engineering and technology to assist the Village Utility Director in the plan reviews, code compliance reviews and permitting of privately developed projects.  The position also performs technical level work in engineering related to the project management, evaluation, planning, design, construction, inspection, maintenance and operation of Wellington's various engineering, and capital improvement projects.  I work with moderate latitude for independent judgment to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures. At Florida Atlantic University I graduated, Cum Laude, my bachelors degree in civil engineering and completed my graduate degree with a Masters of Science in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering. The focus of my Graduate studies is water treatment and the affects of nitrification in a distribution system. My future plans are to pursue a position as Department Director or County Administrator. I currently sit on three technical and education committees with the AWWA. They are Distribution - Operations and Maintenance, Engineering Modeling Applications, and Distribution - Design and Construction, where I serve as Vice Chair.
