This allowed management to make more informed decisions about what to charge.-Revised rental strategy: following the previous, I worked with other work groups including sales teams from all the branches across western Canada, fleet managers, and the yield team to come up with a revised rental rate strategy.-Performance metric calculator: As a team, we came up with the concept of using actual performance and dividing it by a target performance to generate a metric that was fair across all branches and product types. I flushed out the concept to something more concrete that would make fair comparisons including how the target performance should be determined and then created the Excel program that calculated these every month using monthly reporting data.
