Dr. Richard Gendler holds three graduate law degrees including a JSD which is the PhD equivalent in law (the most advanced law degree in the U.S.). He also holds a J.D. (professional doctorate of law), an LLM (research masters of law) and a MTX (Masters of taxation). Dr. Gendler is available for hire to assist with personal and corporate legal issues in the areas of taxation, estate planning, asset protection, wealth preservation, insolvency, bankruptcy and restructuring.In addition to serving as a full time law professor, Dr. Gendler is a part time magistrate for Palm Beach County and a professional arbitrator. He has published scholarly articles on topical issues in the areas of taxation, insolvency and accounting in both professional and academic journals. He has co-authored a widely distributed textbook by the AICPA and Wiley Publishing on the essentials of forensic accounting. Dr. Gendler's bar admissions include the Florida Bar, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court.
